ChainPoint joins the FlexScreen project

By Alexander Ellebrecht | January 23, 2018

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at ChainPoint. For that reason we are involved with multiple innovation projects. These projects give us the opportunity to share knowledge, expand our network and partner up with companies and institutions from all over the world.

One of these projects is FlexScreen, a project funded by the European Union and the Land North-Rhine-Westfalia. Under coordination of Bio-Security GmbH, we work together with Fraunhofer IME, Quh-Lab Lebensmittelsicherheit and FH SWF on this exciting new project.

The aim of the FlexScreen project is to optimize animal health and food safety monitoring in the meat supply chain. A flexible and cost-effective system for the detection for zoonotic diseases using sensor data will be developed. The findings of this system will be transferred into a monitoring model. Through an improved flow of information, animal health and food safety will be increased.
